Bible Journaling Labels

I recently purchased my first journaling Bible.

Having drawn my first few pages straight into my Bible, I noticed that sometimes the text from the other page shines through my image & the pen ink may bleed through the page so I decided to try creating labels & sticking those down into my Bible instead. This allows me to do all my colouring on a flat surface which I find more comfortable.
In this post I will share the process I use to create my journaling labels.
During my morning devotion I jot down  the Scriptures I  wish to journal into my notebook.  Once I'm done I indicate which ones have blank margin space for labels & which ones I need to create as tip-ins.
Then I do any drawings I'm inspired to create. Once completed these drawings get scanned & saved on my computer.

I use Photoshop to create my labels with text and import my drawings. I then import my single labels into a blank document template with 5 labels to print on a A4 pull page label which I print on my black laser printer.

Once my sheet is printed, I add colour to my text & colour the images.
Then I cut my labels & stick them into my Bible. I add tabs at the top of each labelled page to indicate where they are hence making them easier to find in my Bible.

Welcome

I recently stumbled onto some Bible Journaling posts and was so encouraged with using creativity for studying the Word & sharing that with others. This has giving me a new sense of purpose for developing  my own creativity.

I created this blog as a means to share my journey with like minded believers.
